Summary
The person represented is likely to be Anna Elizabeth Fraser née Reay (1845-1920), second wife of the Reverend Duncan Fraser. They married in South Shields in the north of England in 1854 and migrated to Victoria in 1862, living in Ballarat from 1862 to 1868, then in Northcote from 1869 to 1895, and thereafter in Heidelberg.

Anna Elizabeth Fraser was one of the Busy Bees, named as A. E. Fraser in the [Central] square. Her husband, Reverend Duncan Fraser, and daughter Lottie are also named in the Central square. Lottie additionally contributed square [E15]. Several of Anna Elizabeth’s other children also contributed squares: her eldest daughter Elizabeth is thought to be at [J1] and [K4], and was perhaps also responsible for the squares relating to Shakespeare - see [D1], [D5] and [C17]. Another daughter, Frances, is at [J11]. Two of her sons, James and Duncan, are at [D11] and [L1] respectively.
