Summary

Carry Clinton (1879-1947) was the niece of James T Donaldson (1832-1916) and his second wife Caroline (1851-1930) of 'Wellington House', Ivanhoe. In 1904, she married Jack Thomson, a nephew of James’ first wife, Jane Thomson. Carry was very close to her aunt and uncle and, following her uncle’s death, she and her husband lived with Caroline Donaldson at 'Wellington House' until her aunt’s death in 1930.
