Summary

Robert William Kennedy (1852-1928) was a wealthy wine and spirit merchant with several grocery stores.

Further information

In 1891 he commissioned Ravenswood, a grand ‘Renaissance Revival style’ mansion on Lower Road, Heidelberg (now 40 Beauview Parade, Ivanhoe East).

This panel may refer to Robert W. Kennedy who owned the Property Ravenswood, Bellevue Parade, Ivanhoe. He was also a councilor for the Shire of Heidelberg.
There has been a book written on Ravenswood by Jennifer O'Donnell.
