This is the Ivanhoe Bowling Club in 1921. It was formed in 1912 under the umbrella of the Ivanhoe Recreation Association, which also accommodated croquet and tennis courts on their property in John St Ivanhoe. The bowling greens seen here were opened on 11 October 1913.
Even though this is in the heart of Ivanhoe in 1921, there are still empty blocks in the surrounding streets.
