It´s Mothers Day this coming Sunday 14 May, so why not bring Mum to see our Eye Spy exhibition, featuring 166 objects from our collection?
You’ll see objects like this beautiful hand-tinted photograph from c. 1925, probably taken by local photographer Carl Reinhold Hartmann, who lived in Alphington between 1919 and 1924, and then in Waldemar Rd between 1931 and 1972. The photograph shows his wife Christina and their daughter Margaret, who born in 1921.
We are open every Sunday between 2-5 p.m. (entry $5.00) - including this Sunday Mothers Day.
