Lace makers at the Quilt Exhibition

On the last Sunday of every month, a member of the Banksia Lace Group joins us at the museum to demonstrate the art of lace making. Heidelberg’s Busy Bee Signature Quilt has lace inserts that join the segments of the quilt, and the very talented members of the lace group have replicated this lace pattern and are making it at the museum.

If you’d like to see lacemaking in action, come down to the museum on the fourth Sunday between 2.00 and 5.00 p.m. There will be a lacemaking session this coming Sunday 23d June.
