Summary

Edward T Peers, representing the Greensborough Riding, was Heidelberg Shire President 1894-95. Following a Scots Church deputation to the Council, Peers paid for the cost of 15 squares (£3.00) on the signature quilt from his annual allowance. This enabled the names of all 12 Councillors and three senior Shire officers to be included.
