This square appears to represent the electoral county of Evelyn (proclaimed 1849) which lies to the north-east of the County of Bourke (Melbourne).

Further information

At the time of the quilt’s making, the seat of Evelyn was held by EH Cameron, MLA [E12].

This square may also (or alternatively) represent EH Cameron’s daughter Evelyn. Her full name is shown at [F16].
