Curators' Talks: One Name at a Time

Have you heard Margaret Birtley talking about the Heidelberg Busy Bee Signature Quilt yet?
In 1895-96 a group of women from Heidelberg Scots Presbyterian Church embarked on a fundraising venture by creating a signature quilt, where donors names would be embroidered onto a large quilt. Margaret Birtley AM, one of the curators of this exhibition will talk about the past present and future of this fascinating artifact on the following dates: Sunday 28 March 3.00 p.m. Sunday 18 April 3.00 p.m. Sunday 25 April 3.00 p.m. Sunday 2 May 3.00 p.m. (Closing date)
Members of the Banksia Lace Group will be present to demonstrate the making of the lace inserts that feature on the quilt.
Entry $5.00 and free for members.
